Ahh brunch. The 20-something female pastime. A hobby, if you will. I spent about 75% of my week planning who, where & when.
When planning brunch the most important question is what are the mimos (mimosas) like? Bayou has three options: champagne flute, wine glass & CUP full of mimo. So dynamic! Feel free to guess what our table of 7 all ordered.
The food is fabulous as well. We started with a seafood parmesan dip (not pictured because I was a tad buzzed and shared it with the table before I could snap any). It comes with tortilla chips for dipping. Cher ordered the spinach + artichoke eggs benedict. I went for the hash – complete with andouille + crawfish + sweet potatoes.
Nothing was missing from this perfect morning spent with the friends I love (minus my G). Sunshine, food & mimos. I mean, let’s be real.
