Grilled Prosciutto Pizza

I fit in really easily at things like beer festivals.*

I just haven’t a clue or a care about beer. IPA, Pilsner, Stout, Porter – all taste like warm bread to me! & sound like bad dog names tbh.

I really wasn’t alone, though. The cider lines were 8 miles long, solely made up of gaggles of girls like myself. Why is that? Are we really that much more secure than men in admitting that apple cider that gets you tipsy is better than frothy beer that makes your tummy pooch out??? Idk.

I was also far more interested in the food trucks than the beverages. I am THIS close to proving my theory that all tacos taste better out of a truck. I personally think it’s the fact that getting crap all over your face is inevitable & embraced. No one questions you when you’re walking around with sriracha running down your chin. Everyone knows. They get it.

I also walked around the entire festival with my selfie stick out & only got laughed at like 3 times.

Naan bread pizza, nice idea. Although I may have to disagree with your beer comments 😉 Coming from the South West of England I can vouch for the joys of cider as well, although the stuff we have there is perhaps a little different to the cider you were referring to.

As a non-beer drinker, this line right here pretty much sums up why I don’t go to beer festivals:

Hahahaha it’s hard out here for us non-beer drinkers. & YOU, my friend, need a selfie stick. I can see it now – getting all sorts of angles of your outfits. 😉

IPA is Indian Pale Ale… More like what the Brits designed. Craft Beer is the new super Hipster Blah-Blah-Blah to exclude people. I used to sell wine, and quickly cut the cr*p and snobery some people go on about. I could go on all night about this but in a nutshell, we are all different, looks, opinions, sensitivity and taste: if you like something, as long as it has been produced in a traditional way and without ” Breaking Bad” chemical and preservatives interferences… Well no one can tell you otherwise. One taste… One Vote like we say 🙂
