I SWOON. Look, I’m no Taylor Swift fan. In fact, I could name 12 reasons why she annoys the pants off of me. But the girl can write a catchy tune – ain’t no doubt about it. However, the auto-tune she relies on gives me a splitting headache.

Enter Ryan Adams. The man could sing my grocery list & I would melt into a pool of emotion. He’s turned all of the catchy pop tunes into acoustic ballads & I have done nothing but listen to the entire album on repeat for 48 hours. (It’s on Spotify for those who haven’t discovered this majesty).

I just enjoy when a song strikes me to the core so deeply that it stops me in my tracks & I immediately have to perform a lyrical routine or act out my own music video. Anyone with me? Bueller?

A weird series of events – like an album, plan to cover it song by song, actually cover it song by song, keep it simple and beautiful, receive critical acclaim for it. Good work Ryan Adams.
