Vegan Sweet + Sour Meatballs

There are some days I just can’t adult.

The weight of adulthood is just too much to bear sometimes. Bills, meetings, laundry, showering. It’s just TOO much.

I need insight from seasoned adults here. How do you do it?? How do you get up everyday & be a human being? How many mental breakdowns are socially acceptable from year to year????

Yesterday I woke up & just couldn’t adult. I’d been feeling sick for over a week & finally drove myself into a fever. So I rewarded myself by not being a human for a day. I was more like a dog. I curled up in fuzzy blankets & drooled on myself while binge-watching Grey’s all day. I really got a peek into Topanga’s day to day life. Man is she living.

Wish me luck as I attempt yet another day as an adult human being.

When being an adult is just too much, I take the day for myself, bake, cook, rent a movie, read something by my favorite author. Don’t worry adulthood will still be there when you feel better. Julie

This looks delicious. You’re a genius. Taking days off is good. Get in touch with that quiet place inside you when the room starts to spin. Meditation is a good place to start. “As they say, don’t sweat the small stuff.” And in fact, it’s all small stuff, isn’t it?

    These look and sound delicious.

I got up yesterday with a whole list of things I intended to do, and instead I read the entirety of the first Hunger Games book (how did I miss this until now??)… so you’re not alone on that front.

The sauce maddddde it. Modern Family is on my list of things to binge. Gotta get through Grey’s, The Office & a possible re-watch of One Tree Hill. Then, Modern Fam is up!

when I was a kid I couldn’t wait to be an adult so that I could eat ice cream for breakfast or whenever and however much I wanted. Thanks for the reminder that I need to go buy ice cream! Where are my Priorities!?
The recipe looks good. Will have to test it on a crowd without touting the health benefits and see if the flavor wins. Thanks for sharing.

Now that’s gorgeous. I was a vegetarian, but not a vegan, for about a year, and I still love all this sort of stuff. I used to love going to Trader Joe’s (they’ve got all those great veggie foods), but alas, I’m too poor for Trader Joe’s. He he 🙂
