My husband doesn’t know who Meryl Streep is.

What have I done?

How could I have made such a grave mistake? 6 years together & I’ve shared so much of who I am (Leo, mostly), but how did this slip through the cracks?

I’m all, “Yeah, I’m going to go to a movie tomorrow.”

He’s all, “Yeah, kewl, what movie?”

I respond, “The new Meryl Streep.”

He says, “Who is that?”

I was hopeful that I misunderstood him.

“I mean, I’ve heard the name, I think.”

You think? YOU THINK?!

Lord forgive him, he knows not what he speaks.

What???? My ears would have starting ringing, I would prolly be sweating. That’s absolutely unheard of. Are you sure he wasn’t joking. That’s like….Elvis who? Seriously. I assume you are talking about Florence Foster Jenkins-I am dying to see it. She is so great at everything she does. Your pasta looks amazing. I really need to start using lemon more often. 🙂

Sounds delicious and oh so easy. I suppose if I wanted to add grilled chicken or some such it would be even better. Shrimps maybe.

You had me at “butter” and “pasta,” almost list me at your husband’s ignorance (not that mine’s much better) and then had me again with pasta-porn. Yayyyy pasta! Yayyy Meryl!

This looks fabulous and tasty, I’m always having to come up with different pasta toppings. My kids are not fans of simple red sauce. Thank you for sharing. Oh, your husband needs a weekend of Merle for educational purpose. 🙂
